Yaesu Ft-736r Vhf/uhf All-mode Transceiver. Picture(s) and Description:

The FT-736R by Yaesu is a frequency synthesized amateur transceiver incorporating up to four band modules covering 50, 144, 220, 430, 440, and 1200 MHz bands. My radio includes the standard 144-148MHz and the 430-450MHz bands plus the optional band module covering 50-54MHz- six meter band. The transceiver works on USB/LSB, CW and narrow FM.

The radio includes 100 + memories, CW quick-change over semi break-in, full featured FM operating capability and two VFOs that when in the satellite mode can tune either independently or synchronously in opposite directions! This is a great rig for working the amateur satellites, weak signal VHF/UHF contests, EME, or just getting on the local FM repeaters.

Cosmetically, this FT-736R is very good with some scuffing of the plated trim but clear and totally legible front and rear panel lettering. Overall the radio was treated gently and definitely not abused. There are only minor scuffs and tiny scratches. The display is bright and clear and the radio functions all work on all three bands.

I am the original owner and purchased the Yaesu FT-736R in 1988. Due to the age of the radio, I am selling it as-is. The only electronic fault is in the scanning mode radio must warm up before busy frequency locks. I am including the original box, operating manual, original sales receipt and the Technical Supplement.

Please consider this rig if you are looking for an older yet fully functional VHF/UHF all-mode transceiver.
