Uniden Bearcat BC796d Bearcat Trunktracker IV 4 Scanner Picture(s) and Description:

Uniden Bearcat BC796D Scanner with Trunk Tracker IV and APCO 25 1000 Channel PLEASE CHECK OUT THE PICS AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. This is a no reserve auction, high bidder wins! From what I can tell, it apprears to be in great shape. It powers up like it should. At one time I had a few channels programed in it and used it to listen to the local fire department. Before tonight, I haven't plugged it in since December and I don't remember a thing about how to operate it. It is used and a few of the buttons do have some wear, mostly on the Search (SRCH), Hold, Limit, 1, and 2 Buttons have wear. There are some very light scratches on the face. It says it has the APCO 25 Card installed. They all may have it for all I know. Check the pics, some pics were taken the camera flash and some without to see what you think. They are pretty good pics and if you need something better I can email them. The manuals are a little bit rough. They appear to have been stored in the floorboard of a car and has light spills and foot prints. That's how they came and that's what you get, no extra charge for stains, rips, or tears. Included is the scanner, antenna, removable car mount, owners manual, Betty Bearcat Frequency Guide, The National Public Safety Trunked System Frequency Guide (1997), and power supply ( Model AD-580U) 120 VAC 18W to 13.8 V DC 700mA). I bought this for a Christmas present last year and it wasn't quite what they were looking for. I don't know much about scanners so I may not be able to tell you much about it. I knew more when I got it but its been sitting here for close to year now and its time to find a home for it. But, if you do have a question I will do my best to answer it. I took pics using the flash at first and it didn't really look right so I went back and took some without the flash when it was powering up to show the orange lighting and all the screens. (of course they all reversed order when I uploaded them) I know Uniden puts out software updates on their website, but I haven't checked it out since I bought it. They were about to come out with one last time I checked, but I never did an update. You will need the cable for that which I don't have. Shipping is going to be set with priority mail in the shipping calculator because its easiest for me, but I will work with the winner with which ever they prefer since UPS and FedEx are also local. What every we do, I will my best and more than likely have it shipped in less than 24 hours of receiving payment.
