However i have tested this with my own personal adapter & antenna & everything i knew how to test works fine. theres no manual so i dont know how to test some things. I did program police frequencys in my area & comes in loud & clear. Weather also picked up good. I dont see a light that lights up when turned on. Not sure if theres a button to turn it on or if its burned out, or just didnt have one. Uniden website should have a manual download to tell everything this does. to put in a freq once you turn it on hit the freq-chan button till freq lights up. put in the freq numbers & press E. you then can hit freq-chan button again till chan lights. then just repeat those steps till you put in all your freq. that should get you going till you get a manual. thanks for looking!
