I will describe this amplifier to the best of my knowledge. Up for auction is a Heathkit SB-220 amateur radio HF linear amplifier. It comes with 2 assembly manuals and a handful of documentation of work that has been done in the past. I acquired this amplifier in an estate sale. It is wired for 220 therefore I have never been able to try it. That being said, I was told that it was in great working condition the last time it was used. As with all electronics, there is no warranty and this will have to be sold “As-is”. Although it is not in mint condition, it is in great condition for its age. It does have the occasional scuff mark here and there. The top cover does have some minor dents. All knobs and controls are in very nice condition. I do believe it has a soft start mod (see pictures). The amplifier had a new set of 3-500z tubes installed in 1999. Buyer will pay $85.00 flat rate shipping (US & CANADA ONLY) and handling charge as this unit is very heavy and insurance for full purchase price is included in the shipping price. I will take the time to pack the amplifier and tubes properly. I will remove the tubes and ship them separately to ensure that they arrive safely. Payment must be received within 10 days.
