HAM – Heathkit SB-220 10-80 meter 2KW linear amplifier Picture(s) and Description:

This sale is for a Heathkit SB-220 amateur radio HF 2 KW linear amplifier. Included in the sale are the original assembly manual and several modification articles. This SB-220 is wired for 220 Volts and the manual shows how to change it for 120 volts if that is your preference. The amplifier has a pair of Eimac 3-500z made in USA but the lettering has faded away and is difficult to read. Although it is not in mint condition, it is in good condition for its age. The face has some paint chips and the case has some white paint on the rear top of the case (see picture). All knobs, controls and meters look to be in working condition. The fan unit has been replaced. As with all electronics, there is no warranty and this will have to be sold “As-is” as I have no way of testing it. The tubes will be boxed separately. The unit is very heavy and shipping in the USA for both boxes by FedEx will cost $60.00 I will ship worldwide but the unit weighs 60 pounds and would be costly to ship.
