ebay template Here's a Yaesu FT-757GXII that needs some work. It will power-up and receive, but there is no transmit, not even the TX LED lights when you key the rig. I did take a look inside and saw nothing obvious, the screen shield was not re-installed because I couldn't figure out how to get the radio put back together properly with it installed (The radio just wouldn't close up right, something I am doing wrong, but I gave up on it). The shield is included with the radio, maybe someone else can get this one going, but I just don't like working on these. Also, the internal battery (memory backup) is dead, the radio always powers on at 7MHz (I did clip another battery in and then it saved the last freq, so replacing the dead battery will remedy that issue). I don't know why it won't TX or if there is anything else wrong. It's in pretty good cosmetic condition for it's age.
