Here is some leftover / abandoned inventory from a CB shop of 29 years. This radio has recently been checked out and aligned. This radio is an early (Second generation 1991) Cobra 148 GTL that is in excellent operating order. The voice-lock is unlocked and expanded. Has variable AM output power (1-5 watts carrier) for reduced output power to drive external devices or limit local range. Has some additional freqs (45 - 76) on BRT/DIM switch. The controls are clean and fully functional. The LED segments are ALL intact. The meter is in working order and the meter lamp replaced with blue LED. (Slightly dim.. Good at night) The modifications were professionally done. This radio is NOT butchered whatsoever! Comes supplied with NO microphone, mount or power cord. (These items are readily available) Cosmetically the radio has it's flaws... There is some minor wear and scratches. there is also evidence of glue previously on the bottom cover as pictured. (Not bad)
